IN THE COMMUNITY

English Classes – We provide free English as a Second Language teaching to anyone who wants to learn English. From beginner to advanced level.

Outreach – We frequently organise community events such as barbeques, film nights and other socials. We also run courses such as Christianity Explored. Keep checking our ‘What’s On’ page to find out what’s coming up.

Victoria Park also works with and supports the following organisations in Greater Manchester. Please click on the name for more information.

Ardwick & Longsight Foodbank – We work in partnership with the Command Prayer Centre (CPC) at 11 Richmond Grove to provide a food bank for people with a food crisis in the local community.  It is open 1-3pm Mondays and 2-4pm Thursdays.   More information from the website:   www.ardwickandlongsightfoodbank.org.uk.

Friends International – Victoria Park hosts Globe Cafe, an international cafe for Students run by Friends International
Boaz Trust  –  A Christian organisation serving destitute asylum seekers in Greater Manchester
Street Pastors – A Church response to urban problems, engaging with people on the streets to care, listen and dialogue.
Christians Against Poverty– national debt counselling charity . Victoria Park runs CAP Money Courses – you learn how to manage your money.
